Energyz Black Launches in Scotland to Empower Black Professionals in the Energy Sector

Glasgow, May 19, 2025 — Energyz Black, a UK-based non-profit dedicated to championing Black excellence in the energy sector, has officially launched its Scottish chapter. The inaugural event, held on May 15 at OVO’s Cadworks office in Glasgow, was part of Black Inclusion Week and themed “Energize Scotland: Powering Change from Within.”

This expansion marks a significant milestone in Energyz Black’s mission to foster inclusion, mentorship, and career advancement for Black professionals in the UK’s energy industry.

Launched just 16 months ago with 3 members, Energyz Black has  now  grown to over 600 members comprising professionals and students with interests in energy and sustainability. The organization aims to address systemic barriers and promote diversity through tailored programs and strategic partnerships.
