Who Are We?

Energyz Black is a non-profit organization established to champion a paradigm shift for promoting black excellence in the energy sector, and provide a platform for a unified voice to represent black interests, provide perspectives on transformation and empowerment and further encourage the participation of black professionals in the energy sector at large.

Our 3 key thematic areas help achieve increased representation in the sector, address systemic barriers limiting growth and promote excellence through mentorship, skills acquisition, advocacy, and collaboration.

Get Hired is set up to prepare and match Black talents with job opportunities in the energy sector. With future partnerships with leading energy companies at the forefront of renewable energy transition and government led programmes, we hope to prepare students and professionals with the required tools and to provide guidance on employability skills such as interview techniques, CV writing, networking and more.

The Swift programme is aimed at helping students and energy professionals gain insights and acquire skills needed for them to start, thrive and grow in the UK energy sector. This involves the delivery of curated trainings, workshops and bootcamps through partnerships with colleges/universities, community groups, cooperate organizations, training institutions and government agencies.
