It was great to attend this event and engage with all the topics discussed! Particularly to see some of my colleagues from the University of Strathclyde all the way down in Birmingham!!

I got to meet a number of wonderful people in and outside the energy industry. Everyone was full of excitement, ideas and dreams speaking with them opened my eyes to the career path I want for myself.

I enjoyed attending the Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Forum x Energyz Black event, "Insights on the Energy Market & Speed Networking," at Oaklin Consulting. I really valued the opportunity to speak with people across the energy industry, from finance and regulation to engineering and supply, and to get a better sense of the range of career paths within the sector.

I had such a great time! Beyond race, beyond the colour of our skin, when we start truly valuing each other's uniqueness, something extremely powerful can happen.

Thanks to the Energyz Black team, I've secured a role at SUNEL Group as a site engineer with a fantastic package. The trustees' guidance and coaching were crucial, it taught me that perseverance and support pay off.

Becoming a member of Energyz Black has been key to my career development. Through the community support programmes I joined Energy Garden as a trainee, connecting with inspiring professionals and gaining invaluable mentorship.
